In their second game at the Le Gruyere Curling Championships Scotland’s women met Italy the 2006 European Silver Medallists.
Scotland stole two in the first end. They were lying well in the second end, with her last stone Kelly Wood played to the front 12 foot. Italian skip Diana Gaspari attempted a draw with her last stone, it wrecked on a front stone leaving Scotland lying four and holding a six shot lead after just two ends.
Italy picked up one shot in the third and fifth, Scotland got one in the fourth, after a two score by Scotland in the sixth Italy conceded.
Scotland had their second win 9/2.
