Scotland's men's team on three wins from five games had to start putting some more wins on the board to stay in contention for the playoffs. Norway are unbeaten on five wins, Denmark and Switzerland had four wins, Scotland three.
In draw six they took on Switzerland, and they did take them on, playing an agressive game all the way through going into the second half one ahead. The seventh end was the winning end for Scotland, great shot making from Scotland and a couple of bad shots from Switzerland gave Scotland a three score to lead by four.
The Murdoch four were not going to let the Swiss back into the game, Scotland led by three going into the last end and ran Switzerland out of stones to win 8/5.
Norway lead on six wins, Denmark, Switzerland and Scotland are tied on four wins, Germany and Sweden have three wins.
