Just one week before the start of the Le Gruyere European Championships, six of the teams Scotland's women will be facing in Fussen will be competing at the ZO Women's Tournament in Wetzikon, Switzerland.2006 gold, silver and bronze medallists, Ludmilla Privivkova from Russia, the Italian team skipped by Diana Gaspari and Switzerland's Miriam Ott will all be getting in some practice before the big one, the European Championships.
Germany's Andrea Schopp, always a force to be reckoned with, will be there too, as will Team Toth from Austria and the Czech Republic team skipped by Katerina Urbanova.
It will be interesting to see how the results go over the weekend and if any of the European contenders meet up in Wetzikon, will results give us a guide to the fate of the teams at the Europeans?
